I was wondering if someone could identify the builder of my hybrid frame? It had a 426 in it but I am preparing to put a CRF in it. Thankyou

Its def not a JRD frame.
The style frame you have has been mistaken over the years as a houser, but again its not a houser either. I believe it was one of the off name companies like frontline, ddj, etc.... im not positive on which one though.
Heres a link to a similiar frame setup that was confused as a houser frame. http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=305726&highlight=frame

Thanks jrspawn, that is the same frame as the other thread. I wonder if who ever it is, is still in business? Sure would like some feedback on the frame though. Like any known problems that I could avoid. Thanks

That frame could of been built by a smaller company that not to many people have heard of. I can name one small frame company that not to many people have heard of Warlock chassis. I'm sure there were a lot of small companies that made frames back in the 250r and hybrid days.

Possibly a Lovins frame, they were making frames for a while, I believe that Joe Byrd rode one of there frames back in the day.

if it is a Houser, it would be one of there first ones. They did build a YZ frame with CR500 linkage for Greg Meeks (former GNC Pro) but they never could get it dialed in so they started making no-link frames. not real sure but it just doesn't look like a Houser frame

Def not a Lovins.
Not a Warlock.
Not PRD
Not JRD
Not JP
Not LSR
It's prob a custom built one-off.
Never seen that style of shock bars up front, or stem post.
And I've seen/researched most frames out there...
