Looks good!

Is that really still snow in late May? God bless you if it is cause I'm not a cold weather person. I lived in NE Ohio for 20+ years and returned to NC due much in part to the weather.

Nice, I've never looked into flat track racing but it does look pretty fun. Maybe one Friday night I'll come out to watch to see what it's like....

Yea you definitely should, bring your quad either way, that way if you decide to race, you can, but if your not too sure, just don't enter. :p

heres an idea, video of like a month ago when i had my carb tuned all wrong and a horrible sprocket setup. that dvx400 was way ahead there, well, this past friday, i beat him by 15 lengths :D check out the pics too.

Haha nice. If I had finished all of my young drivers crap earlier, I could have got mine on June 30th, but I've been away in Europe most of July, and now I'm going to have to do it all so I can get my G2 sometime soon haha

oh mine, i was the same way. i could have taken my G2 ttest april 7th if i had done drivers ed. but of course i waited too long and just finished my in-cars yesterday. :p
so technically i could get my G2 today, but they are booked full until aug 9th.

where abouts do you ride in T.O?

That sucks haha... I'll probably have to wait until a year after the day I got my license anyways.... young drivers won't end up saving me any time haha. Just insurance cost really.

In T.O, I don't ride LOL. I have a farm out near Georgetown where I ride most of the time. I also have a cottage up near Algonquin, and I ride all the trails up there. Where do you ride usually?

yea, it does. :p and i got my G1 aug 7 last summer, so it will be over a year unless i can book the test a bit sooner, but i doubt it. and yea, i didn't take young drivers, its pricing is RIDICULOUS. don't you have other driving instruction companies there? we have TONS of em, :p some are $800, $600, but i took the $400 one. haha, might as well because they all save the same on insurance.

Yea i was going to say, i have been in toronto and there isn't even anywhere to set up a sprinkler, its all concrete ;p sounds like a lot of fun though. theres an old sand pit/quarry down the street from me, so i ride there, kinda sucks now though, the rain destroyed it and all the dirt bikes didn't help either, other then thjat i have to go to like Welland, and Paris to race. haha
just to give you an idea. and it is REAALLY hard on bearings and chains down there too. oh, and brakes.

I got my G1 on October 30th - my birthday haha. It was a Friday, and my school had the Halloween dress up dady that day, so when I went to write my test and get my picture taken, I was wearing my Fox 360 jersey and pants, as well as 661 chest protector. Unfortunately I didn't get any of it in the picture.....and I did YD at my school with a group of 20 kids so we got a price break... don't remember how much it was exactly.

We have a sprinkler on our lawn! lol. I know what you're getting at though... I don't really like living here personally. Too many people, and too much traffic. Being out at the farm or cottage is much more enjoyable to me. It must be nice to have the sand pit/quarry right down the street from you though!

haha. oh, sorry bout that :p
my impression of T.O is just around Rogers Centre because i got there a few times a year to watch the Jays. and its alright being that close to somewhere to ride, but its not the great there ;p too many bikes, its getting boring there, and it eats up parts like that.
i gotta go though, heading to Paris for Racing right now.
peace

Yeah it's all concrete down there haha. Too much grey, not enough green. It's even worse in the winter.... just grey and white haha.

How was Paris? haha

440ex. ehhh!!
07-24-2010, 09:31 AM
lmao.

Paris was pretty fun, finished 3rd in finals this time :ermm: behind a trx250r, but its got ****s done to it, last week when i came first in finals, he was way back there. :p
and in 2nd was a yfz450r, the kid riding it, his dad raced pro mx and flattrack in quebec for 7 years :s this yfz is NOWHERE near stock :p but yet, i almost ran into the back of him in the corners twice.
oh well, i should be in 1st place for points now :D wont know until he updates the site, last week and yesterday aren't up yet, and of course they are the 2 weeks i did best :p

Canadian144
07-24-2010, 02:42 PM
Haha nice. Those 250r's are beastly.... with some engine done to them and some mild suspension work I'm sure they'd be good on the flat track.

I think my LTR would do pretty well! I'd have to strip it down a bit, get rid of everything I don't need. All those skids must weigh a ton lol. I'd probably also put the stock wheels/tires (18" rears) on, but leave the current gearing that is for the 20" rear tires.

440ex. ehhh!!
07-24-2010, 05:16 PM
strip it down for what? ;p just ride it like that, and it doesn't matter for tires, i'd say keep your RAZR's on there, im running holeshot h-d's on mine, same with the 250r guy
almost no one there has flat track tires. and because of the track, you will need the extra grip usually.

Canadian144
07-24-2010, 05:48 PM
I'd rather have the MX tires on just because it sits a bit lower with them on and corners a bit better. Plus you can slide the rear end around better :p And I really have no use for them anyways haha.

BTW I never thought of it, but I sorta have a flat track at my farm.... you can see it on google maps, I'll PM you the link to my farm (for security reasons haha).

haha, alright.
