how to soak clutch plates

what type of oil do i soak them in and how long? i have a 87 r

Just soak them in the same oil you will be using in your engine. I use the Pro Honda oil in the red bottle. Soaking them overnight should be just fine.

yea and when you do, lay each in the oil at a time. dont just lay the whole stack in there at once. :cool:
