I ride lots at night and I am wondering if people here have recommendations as to upgrade the lighting system on my 2001 400ex.

I've seen anything from changing the bulbs to adding fog lights.

any input welcomed.

thanks in advance.

these work pretty nice, they're Trail Tech lights, you can get them off of www.rockymountainatv.com they're bright but not as big as the baja lights DGR is talking about

seem to be ok. Price is right as well. If you did not like them they would be that much of a waste of money

Theres some one selling them on ebay for $45:devil there only $14.99 fron jc whitney. I ordered some of those on Monday for my 400ex. They look just like the trailtech lights. You can also get smaller watt bulbs from any autoparts store. The stock stator puts out 150watts and you need 50 watts to charge the battery. I plan on putting smaller bulbs in them and running the stock lights too :D

Hey if u have the money, GO with some H.I.D lights. They just kick butt. Here is a couple of pictures of my bike with and without the lights on. I can take them off and put them on in less then a minute. Its the only way to go.

Ricky Stator is the man to talk to about lighting.

Some good baja light setups. I use Cibie lights, kinda like the set up above.
