Need an honest price opinion

What do u think this bike is worth its my 2000 cr250
It was just rebult top and bottom and just finished the break-in
It has:
Race tech suspension
v-force reeds and cage
Pro taper bars/grips/ and triple clamp
Black acrebis plastic
Black rims
One industries graphics
Full pro circuit pipe but has a dent in the head pipe
New kenda Millville rear tire and have another front for it
New moose clutch and brake levers with an extra clutch lever
Polished frame (starting to get dull because ur leg rubs against the frame but it shines really nice)
Has a flywheel weight but im not sure how heavy
Oil was just changed
I know theres more but i juz cant think of it at the moment

ive seen them going by me in NJ for about 2k, maybe 2500. I dont get it, bikes dont seem to be up there in price anymore-its the quads people want arms and legs for.

They are as low as $1400 around here. Seen some people askin around $2400 also.

im looking to get at least 2000 for but ppl are offering me like 1100 and 900 which is just making me mad because i see junky little yz125s go for 1000$ all the time and there like 1995-1998

id probably list it for 2100 and take the first 1800. Its in good shape and has lots done to it, i definately wouldn't take 1100

Definitely worth more than that. I stock my stock KX for 1200.

Did some work to it though. Got it for 800, fabbed up new modern plastics, got new tires, painted exhaust, etc.

Hes right, I can't even get 1600 out of my bike and its newer and a lot more aftermarket parts.

And dont get me wrong it was a decent bike, didnt look the best but ran good

Around here (near pittsburgh) they are anywhere from 1550-1700

Around here I would put it up for 2100 and take 1700 or higher. The positive is the year, its bomber bike class legal and if its tight and ready to go it would sell. A 2002 would sell for less here because its not the latest and greatest and its not eligible in the bomber class. Thats just how it works around here.

ya im near pittsburg and i have heard about the bomber class and thought well mayb some on would buy it to run the bomber class
Everything is tight and good it fires up usally first kick, let it warm up and its good to go

i have seen yz426 and 450's going for 1600-2000 around here. two strokes around that age usually go for 1200-1600. i wouldn't give more than 1550 for the bike bud. 2000 is high for what i see them going for.

Well idk i just want a 4 stroke bike
i got offered a 2005 ktm450sxf today but the guy said he wanted some cash on top of it and idk if he would want cash or not he said he wants to trade and then hi sbrother wants to buy my cr250 off of him

And if this doesnt want any cash im gona jump on that deal its a nice lookin bike and definitly worth the trade but i just dont have money to put on top of it

ya he does, i figured i could get him down if he didnt include any extra parts but he wants the same for the bike with or without the parts he still wants my bike and 1400$ then he will prob sell it to his brother for 2000$ and he will have an extra 650 in his pocket because he is only asking 2750 for his bike

Idk I would say $1400 is right for that bike in NJ... Theres countless dirtbikes for sale on craigslist and stuff around here. Heck even if you look at the classifieds on this site you can find a really new 4stroke bike for less than $2500. I don't see how a 10 year old bike is worth $2000. Looks to be in nice shape though.

thats a sick bike sadly they just dont hold there value, i sold my 03cr250 for 1500 bux and it was just as nice as yours in my opinion i would hold onto it i wish i kept mine

yep it was on craigslist a couple months back the guy wanted 1800 and was hard up for cash i payed 1500 and then put some new parts in it ive only had it a few months mayb 2 tops

ya i thought it was a really nice bike and at the time he wanted 2000$ and i was like well crap i only got 1500 and i almost guarantee he wouldnt take that

Then i was like well heck with it i called him and asked if he would take less then he called me back an hour later and asked how much i had, i said i had 1500

So he was like im hard up for money so if u come tonight with 1500 cash its yours so i got it haha

1500-1700 is best case scenario for your bike in the market. "older" 2 strokes have been losing their value pretty quickly since the 4 strokes have pretty much revolutionized the sport. I didn't really have too much trouble getting rid of my 05 yzf. I thought I was going to mainly due to the fact it had a steel frame. It lasted 3 days on craigslist and I got asking price. I was surprised. I got a pretty good deal on my 08 kxf so I couldn't really pass it up.

The highest offer has been 1300 so im still gona wait to c what someone wants to pay

If i dont get enough ill just keep it
