I am looking at a quad that needs a throttle slide plate and the o ring. is there any reason that it would need it? I was thinking if it was just from wearing on the carb but I'm not fimiliar with fcr carbs.
thanks for your help

i had a one go bad on me, the o-ring got all wavy and bound the slide in the carb, it was because i cleaned it with some kind of carb cleaner and they didnt agree...
they cost about $50-$70 if i remember right.
it basically means someone boobooed it up while cleaning it and caused more trouble than it had.

Yamaha sells just the o-ring. I bought one for a 05 yz450F, and It's the same as the early CRF carb. Mine Is a 02. I think In 07 they bumped the crf carb to 41mm. Not sure If the YZ o-ring will fit the bigger 41mm CRF carb.
The Yamaha part number Is 4FN-14997-00-00, It's the same from 03-08. It's less than 10.00 for just the seal.
