second oil cooler

hey guys just picked up a 12x5 oil cooler at napa today gonna mount it on the frame in the front , was just curious and i know its dumb question but we dont add any extra oil do you ?? just the same 1.8l ?

It should take a bit extra because a bigger oil cooler should also have a bigger volume.

yeah thats what i was thinking , im still running the stock one to so i will have two oil coolers and on one of the threads they guy just topped it off after he installed his second one , guess ill just add a little extra to be safe

That would be the best bet..just let it run for a bit to warm the oil up and flow through the new cooler and then check the level..shouldn't have to add much i wouldn't think
