ltr 450 running problem

m new to the ltr 450 nd its fuel injection but my buddy has an 08 that he got off a guy nd it wouldn't run here the woodrift key broke but we fixed that set the timing now i can get it to run nd idle fine in neutral but once i put it in first nd try to pull out it just bogs down nd shuts off it seems like when u get in higher rpms it does this any advice or problems to check would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like a fuel pressure regulator to me. If you have another LTR around try swapping the entire fuel tank including the regulator. Otherwise I believe there is a way to do a pressure test on your regulator. Mine went out last yeat and it is fairly common.

thanks for the reply but now i have an either bigger problem the new woodrift jey i put in broke so now i have no clue y it broke another im maybe thinking bent valves
