I know this is a terribly generic question, but has anyone on here ever heard of anyone running a 192 main on a stock cylinder?

A friend of mine bought a bike with a stock cylinder (I'm not sure what bore) 39 pwk, runs on race gas (didnt check compression yet, but has a cool head, so I'm assuming they have a pump and race dome?). Paul Turner High Rev pipe. It has a 192 main, had a 50 pilot.

I rode the bike when he bought it to check it for him, and it was of course fat up top.

I was going to have him start at 178 but it seemed like such a big jump.

Just wondering what you thought about the 192 on a stock cylinder.

My setup I have a 38mm pwk stock cylinder bored 2mm over and also stock head. The cylinder does have some porting but nothing to extreme. I currently run a 172 main and a 52 pilot and have a perfect plug color on pump gas. Why do you need the race fuel? Start playing with jets. If you start at 178 and it helps a bunch keep going bigger until you notice it running flat on you again. For example you get to 185 and it hits a wall bring it back down to 182.
