i know this is kind of off the normal 250r subject. but i was wondering if anyone knows what documents on a bike if any are needed to ride at silver lake. my 250r has no title or vin number. not stolen just lost along the years i guess. would just hate to take the 8hr trip for nothing. thanks alot.

You don't need any documentation of any kind. You will need a spark arrestor and an ORV sticker.

for an out of state resident you have something else to fill out but it dont take long at all and you can pick them up in lots of different places my wife got hers at a beer store and i got mine at a bait shop and for the dunes you gotta have a flag to

That's the same silencer I used out there last year and I had no problems.

All I got last year was a yearly pass, DNR vehicle sticker, and a flag. And I'm a non resident. Not a big deal.

Way to many Rules, oneway traffic and no night riding. It's close to the east coast but tooooooo many rules...

WOW, after reading all that BS. I wouldnt even want to go to the dunes.. Anything i would be doing out there, i would be wondering if i would be breaking a rule, wether it be the direction BS, or the orv lisence safety crap certificate...
