Yesterday, we decided that it would be a good idea to get all my buddies from HS together and do something. This is what we came up with. Its about 80 yards long and the picture is from my phone and doesnt really do it any justice as to the size and slope of the slide. We didnt really think it through because at the end we just kept sliding on the grass and i snapped a pic of one of my buddies back to show you how all of us looked at the end. Today were planning on doing it again but were going to dig out a pool at the end to help stop us and may even add a jump into the pool.

LOVE IT! ..Brings back good memories. I remember my friends & I setting one of those up on their road. We went through about 4 bottles of Dawn dish liquid. LOTS of gnarly bruises to show for it all.

we got ours at sherwin williams, its just a plastic drop cloth and we had 2 we used, one was 12' x 100' and the other was 20' x 100'. it was 60 bucks for the both of them and it was 3mm thick which was plenty.

go to a local sign company and ask for used billboard signs. The material they use and really thick and works perfectly for slip n slides. I have four of them and only had to pay for one and it was only 15 dollars.

we used dish soap. 2 gallons in 2 hours haha. we also bought a kiddie pool and were going to dig a hole and sink it in and just overlap the tarp so the water stays in.

My buddy owns a farm supply store so we get the good stuff, but basically, we take out the tarp/or watever we get out stretch it a cross his lawn[there is what looks like a small but wide drainage ditch so it hold water a little and you dont go off the side] which is huge, and it ends at the pond, we pull out the 300ex or the kubota and tie a ski rope to it, ITs fun as hell untill we get other idea's ........... the kneeboard worked great the first time.. then it sliced throught the tarp and tore my AS up!
