yes it is. its for my dad's 78 Thunderbird that im gonna restore and drive as my first car. i guess come spring ill go junk-yard-hunting for one. maybe i should have the original one rebuilt. i don't know

windsors are pretty common so if your having trouble finding the right one are you sure it aint a cleavlend. ythe cleavlends are a lot rarrer. the clevends are also a big block and winsors are not just alil advise otherwise, check npd(national parts depot) i forget the website just look it up

i found an Edelbrock intake manifold in the local classifieds tonight. theres also a 79 T-bird for sale for parts for $150. does anyone know if the 78 and 79 parts are interchangeable? if so, i think im gonna buy it.

what was the stock carb? i might no where there is one my unc has a 351 w in his drag car lemme talk to him but what is the stock cab

hey buddy, I work full time behind the parts counter, and i love fords....78' &79' just about everything will interchange except for maybe some minor cosmetic things but drivetrain will all be the same..... u looking for a 4bbl or a 2bbl? my buddy has lots of xtra ford parts?

talked to my friend, all he has is carbs that need rebuilt, in that case u could prob rebuild yours
