If you can list what mods it has or will have we can give you more advice. With the 2007s I would install a shift pin relocator if it doesn't already have one, especially if you race/ride hard.

expect power.... u think that 400ex was powerfull, wow. hold on tight. :eek2:

i set mine up with some nerfs and skids because of how i ride in the deep woods and rocky ****, i also got a 22/20 tire combo instead of the 20/18 it comes stock on them, and i got a smaller front sprocket to keep the launch the same with bigger tires.

def ride it befor you buy a pipe and stuff because its a whole dif animal, i have a ltz400 a 400ex and a fully built race ready 440 stroker, and ill tell you my basicly stock 450 spanks it.

make sue you check the linkage bearings, clean them and grease them often. When you change the oil, make sure you drain the crank case also. If you start catching false neutrals while under power, have it looked at.

Its funny, I have an 08 and an 06. I was all worried about the 08 losing third gear so I swapped my 06 bottom end into my 08.....3 hours of riding later my 06 blew third gear.
