I currently have a JE 87mm piston (416cc). I know all about the various combos of bore and stroke. I have also seen that JE makes a 92 mm piston. (465cc) I know the 89mm (440) will work after resleeving but what will need to be done to get the 92mm in? Do the fins have to be shaved off/welded back as the hole may be too large for clearance? I want to avoid stroking the motor but DO wish to have a Carrillo Connecting rod installed and the crank trued and welded. I have read about the need for getting the "cases trenched". Is this the situation that calls fo that or will the new HD rod fit w/o any case mods? I know some of you guys like Chef,Chadexr, and others may know the answer. Thanks!

i run a 440stroker motor...that is the max u can go and it puts out more than just a regular 440 motor

In my personal opinion if you are want to go that big I would stroke it. I think you have better torque and hp out puts with better reliability.I would say with a 92mm bore you would have to have some case work done to fit the new sleeve in, but I am just guessing that.
