When changing the piston and adding the xr400 cam what are the best gaskets to run Ive heard that the factory honda xr400 head gaskets will increase your compression to 10.8:1 using the JE 10.5:1 piston the compression with the stock 400ex gasket would make it stay 10.5:1 where is that I heard that the cometic will increase it over the stock 400ex gasket but will still not give you the compression of the stock xr400 head gasket the cometic is supposed to be thicker than the stock xr400 gasket is there any truth behind this.
