when running a fan on the stock oil cooler how would i get electric to it. just run some high quality wire straight to the battery? or?

I had mine wired to the battery with a switch but you could run it from key switch hot wire and then wire in a switch also. that would probably be the easiest way to do it. dont forget to run a fuse also in the wires to avoid something happening and frying the system. if it shorts from water or something it will just blow the fuse then instead of the whole thing. A 5 amp would be good if you are using a spal as they draw about .5-1 amp usually but it would depend on the load on it otherwise. steve

i would put it before the switch then if it shorts out it when it hits the switch it will blow also. that is my opinion though lol as i am really not 100% sure on where to put it. seems logical though since the fuses for the machine are right by the battery and before all of the switches lol. steve

no prob! if you want to remove it ever, it is easier to just wire it to the battery. steve
