what did everyone place your first race? and on what??

i got 8th on my 330:o

On my honda 250r at royal mt. I got 5th in the motocross event and the supercross event a week or 2 later i got 5th..

400ex...2nd place

6th in the first heat on my 300ex goin against 30 other guys with raptors and 400s and everything in a harescramble, and I DNFd the second heat cause a banshee cut me off in turn one i hit a hay bale and went flipping

Second in C class at marysville.Outta like 30 other quads..In the dark noless but with lights:p ...back then I thought a 45 ft double was HUGE!!!...

lol, I was pretty proud my first race. I placed 3rd in the main and got the holeshot in both my heat and main. I can't wait tell race season, nothing like watching the gate drop woundering if your gonna end up in front or gonna crash because I don't let off no matter if people are hitting me and if I can get around people I do everything I think I can during the holeshot to gain as many places as possible. Anyways i'll shutup I just really like the thrill of racing.

I look up to alot of the older racer...They are fast and I ask them alot of questions And they always help....Even if they did beat me I am beating them now :devil ...but there are one or two older guys that just flat out fly...

I cant even say I got a DNF my first race , it was more like a DNS ( Did not start) I fouled the plug in my quad about 1 minute before the 30 second flag went up . I was soooo mad . The referee didn't allow me 2 minutes to run to my trailer and grab a spare plug . Nothign worse than warming up your engine then its like bwahhh bwahhhhh bwahhhhh DEAD!!!!!

I raced at the fair...it was white brothers productions. I got first on my 300 (MX) and 25$ then i beat the open class drag races on my 416...i beat a bombardier and a few raptors...i tied down the front end with straps cuz i didnt have those durablue lowering things...i got 15$ and two huge trophies that night...awesome first experience!

i got last my first race bc my freakin seat fell off, then the next year i got 5th...

got 7th out of 7 in a Harescramble...but its all about learing and hiving fun....i was on a pimped out warrior....

I got the holeshot but into the first turn i rolled it into a tree.....i got up and by the end of the first lap i was around 3rd....on the second lap I got rear ended by a 400ex going over a hill and i flew over the bars, by that time i was back to 6th.......On the 4th lap i hit a ditch and my DMC dual exhaust fell off but i just kept going....ON the final lap i was in 6th and my throttle and clutch stuck.....i ran into a tree and my bumper was hangin by 2 bolts and my chest protector was cracked........i was still in 6th after i got it going....but about half way through the lap my brakes locked and i got passes about 200ft from the finish line!!!!!!!!

I was soo proud of my self for finishing though...i was only 11 racing with adults. I went back the next week and got 3rd out of 9....woohoo!!

Racing brings soo many memories....and LAUGHS!! I have had expierences that i'll never forget.

My first race was on my 86 250r.First moto was a dnf I beleive.I holeshoted though.(good port job)I can't really remember.I hated my first race.

The second one I did alot better.Don't exactly rememebr I didn't win I know that.LOL

my first race was in 1984,( before most of you were born) i was riding a yamaha 200 3 wheeler w/ flat tracks, unsuspended and finished 3rd out of 8 on a TT type track. that was many moons ago:rolleyes: somethings never change though. i'm still the only one in my class riding a yamaha product. dare to be different!:grr

My first race was 2 years ago on my stock 400, bout a month after I had gotten it, and I ended up 2nd out of 18 people in the beginner class. After that day I was just hooked and I can't stop thinking or doing racing! It's the best sport out there in my mind!

Ya I agree, I ride with a lot of older quad riders now and I just love the style of the older riders how they don't ride over there head and ride fast with experience and never crash. Kinda like Jeremy Magrath. Thats my style and in the end you end up being just as fast at a steady pace and your not getting hurt all the dang time.:eek:

7th in 400B, and 9th in Open B on a basically stock 400EX, against mostly Cannondales, and worked 400EXs (mostly all Banshees in Open, there were 3 400EXs including me).

My very first race was on my 400, no motor mods, got 3rd in holeshot against 440s etc, well 4th lap, dude tried to pass me, cut me off, I wrecked, should have finished 3rd overall, but o well, next race I got 2nd overall. First race on R, got 1st overall, 1st moto i won, 2nd moto I won and caught and passed the pro class in front of me lol.

i got 8th out of 18 i think is how many people. that was at the wisp gncc after i got a flat on the first lap, had to ride around hlaf the course with a flat, plug the flat fill up the tire ride around alittle bit to get some fix a flat around the inside of the tire. that all took about 30mins to fix. and i jammed my wrist cause of the flat and still did 2 more laps with a messed up wrist. guess what i was only about 28 mins behind the leaders of the race. they got 4 laps and i averaged like 25 min. laps after the flat. stupid rocks i know all u guys that went to wisp felt m pain

dude my first race was 4 hrs out(for some reason in micchigan every race is liek 3 hrs away) and it was last race of the season and muddy as he ll. i think i came in last and said **** hair srambles than my second race i placed 3 in mx race c class with about 9 people in my calss. it is cool because they race a,b,c all together so u never know who is in c or b or a and i was rtryn to keep up with the a class i was like man these guys are smokeing me
it was so fun
