400 ex plastics adapt to 250r

just got a set of 400ex plastics, wondering what needs to be done to adapt them to an 86 250r? any help would be appreciated. thank you!!!

nobody try this? i have seen people talk about it and i think i have seen one on here before? any ideas?

i did it years ago but cant remember what all i did, i know it wasnt hard you need ALL the 400ex plastic and seat and its not real hard after that, use your imagination.. ha you can do it,
i also intergrated my stock 88 oem hood on it and it looked great a lot of people didnt know it was ex plastic they thought it was some type of aftermarket fender, with the r hood and fronts cut and a custom seat cover. it was hard to tell

i belive you have to use the 400ex tank as well

no you can use the 250r gas tank but you need the little center plastic piece for over the gas tank, like i said you need all 400ex plastic.. its not to hard

i have a custom seat that will fit the 250r gas tank. it is made for the 400ex plastic conversion. it has to be shortened and further modified to work with the 250r tank and frame.
