Alright, looking at honda oem parts. 250R tie rod ends are about $52 a piece, and 450R rod ends are only $17 a piece. Now they use the same thread pattern so both sets of ends will thread onto the tie rods. So my question is, will the 450R tie rods work for the 250R?

250R part number for one side :
53157-HB9-003
450R part number for same side:
53157-HP1-003

Has anyone ever had a chance to compare?

I have been using the 450R ends for years, never had a problem. I starting using them after I refused to pay what Honda was charging for the 250R ends. Not really sure what the differences are, as I have never compared the two. (When I got my 250R, it had Tusk ends on it.) Always used aftermarket tie rods also, don't know if that makes a difference.

the stock rods vs aftermarket rods themselves should make no difference at all since they share the same thread to use the oem ends. But if the ends from a 450 work on a 250r, then awesome, I agree.. why pay $52 an OEM end when you can get 3 for that price, (all four for around $68).
