if i put a new plug in with a new pipe after the other one fouled will this work until i can get it rejeted

Best advice is to buy a service manual, you can get a Clymer's for about $20, and it is worth it's weight!!! Back to the subject, to rejet.... take your seat/fenders off, take the carb out, flip over, take the 4 screws on the bottom out, and on the bottom there will be two little bronze bolt things with holes in em'. The one that is marked 150 or whatever (1xx something at least), this is your MAIN JET, take it out, bring it to your nearest dealer and tell them to give you the next two sizes smaller if you are fouling plugs.
