do you need a revalve for a +2 swingarm? or is it a different spring? someone told me a different spring but ive read many places i need it revalved?

You'll need a heavier spring rate and a revalve. The increased leverage will require the heavier spring to maintain ride height. Also, the increased leverage will overcome your compression valving, so it will need to be increased also. Since your spring rate will be increased, your shock will now rebound more quickly (so increased rebound damping is needed). Now, this is all assuming your shock worked correctly for you to start with.
