brake handle

I have a couple 09 apex 90's and the front brake lever is way to far from the handle bars for my kids to grab. Has anyone swapped out the lever for an aftermarket lever. If so what model or part number.

Dennis Kirk. A stock 07 - 08 YZ450F brake lever is what I have on my 6 year olds 09 50. We put it on last season and it works great, costs like 10 bucks and oh yea, looks like carbon fiber.

We put 06 YFZ ASV lever with just a little modification (drilling hole for spring to go in appox1/8"). Good luck
