electrical condenser - an electrical device characterized by its capacity to store an electric charge
and
electrical device that distributes voltage to the spark plugs of a gasoline engine in the order of the firing sequence
I think if you remove it you will not have any spark.

The rectifier converts the AC volts that the stator creates into DC volts.

The condenser stores a charge for the headlights to run off of. The 450r will run without it. It does not aid in spark. I have an ER that I converted to Kick and it ran fine for a long time with no battery or condenser. I just didn't have headlights, they were really really dim. I added a condenser and headlights are nice and bright now. It actually wires into key wiring and the taillight harness.
