Motor Rebuild

I am going to be having my motor rebuilt soon on my 2002 400ex and i wanted to go with the 416 kit. i was wondering what else to do to the motor like cam, valves etc.. I ride MX only so thats what i want to build it for.

stage 2 cam, 12.5:1 cam with hd head studs or 11:1, 14/39 gearing, shocks, hd cam chain, valve lap, port and polish, full exhaust or at least grind the header welds on the stock one. other than that you should get some small other stuff and you would be good to go. steve

Webcam, grind of your choice.
JE 13:1 piston
KibbleWhite +1 oversize valves
Titainium springs
Hardened rocks
FCR 40mm, or Lectron carb
Curtis Sparks full system
CRF Cam Chain
Port&Polish
5* valve job
14/39 if you are using 18" tires
GTT HD studs

Im in the middle of mine, went to:
416
wiseco 87mm piston 11:1
HD head studs from GT thunder
stage 2 hotcam
lexx MXE exhaust
CRF timing chain

It ripped before, but I bet it will be even better.

same mods I had done to mine minus the head studs. It ripped decent but im used to high hp 2 strokes, between my banshee and my bros 330 250r. Now down low the torque was nice but i didnt notice a real difference till the top of 4th and into 5th

x2 + add a 450 carb.
