Has anyone bought a gen4 Glock? I've heard internet rumors about feeding issues on them. I hope that it is just "rumor" but wondering if any of you have first hand experience. I'd like to buy one in 17 so I can interchange with my 26.

I have a Gen 4 Glock 17. I absolutely love it!! Its a real smooth gun. My 1st 100 rds I had 2 jams. But I blame that on Glock using the same spring in the 9mm as the 40 cal. That and I'm sure the spring had to break in a little bit. I have 800 rds through it since then and hadn't had a jam since.

The bigger mag release button is nice too. The previous gens were way to small.

Heres a few pics

I'm gonna get a 10mm next :macho

I'll keep the 9mm for plinking and the 10mm for carry.

Nice gun man!! thats exactly what i want.

If you don't mind me asking, how much money did it take to bring that thing home?

One more thing, does the recoil really feel any less with the new spring set-up or is it about the same?

$560 when it was all said and done.

On the recoil, I'm not sure. I had a Glock 23 (40 cal) before this. That had alot more recoil to it then my 17 does. But it was a smaller gun and a bigger caliber. I like the 9mm better for shooting. Less recoil, more accurate, and the ammo is cheaper

Looks like they are taking pointers from Springfield Armory!

I loved Glock........ until the XD.

And i don't understand why Glock didn't give it a TRUE Ambidextrous Mag Release?

Yea i noticed the same. The only things i don't like about the xd is the grip safety and their parts are a little higher priced and harder to find. not too big of a deal i guess but i think the glock still has a small advantage but thats just my opinion.
