moderated bulletin board system called "Capital District ATV Zone",
newly established by riders from the Albany/Schenectady/Troy or more
generally the Eastern-Upstate NY area.
A founding member of the nicely structured "BBS" wrote to us saying:
"...we are looking for some true ATV riders. You can share everything
from where to ride to tech tips. Please check it out and pass it
around."
Thanks to the people who forwarded the effort to create this system. It
is this writer's experience from membership in car-hobby-related "online
communities" that these are very effective tools for sharing information
and meeting new friends who share a common interest.
(While we aren't aware of a similar BBS for trail motorcyclists in the
Capital Region, New England's www.nedirtbikes.com has been one of our
favorites.)
