is it possible to put a dirtbike carb onto my ltr's? i dont have 1200 bucks to buy a kit, is it posible? i know some kawi guys did it a wile back

I dont believe you can... i have mikes kit on my bike and there alot more to it than bolting on a carb.....you need different buckets and some other little things to run a carb...also the harness needs to be modified....call mike he will help you out with any quistions....

you also need different intake boots because carbs can't sit at a 45 degree angle like the throttle body can.

Carb on an LTR isn't worth it LTR+Carb=LESS HP its not like a kawi. Kawi + Carb= SICK horsepower

Not true about losing hp with a carb on a suzuki. Its all about how your motor is setup. A carb can compliment certain motor setups better than f.i.

i beg to differ....i have mike's kit on my bike and i never changed the intake boot...the stock boot works just fine.....

have atp kit on mine to and stock intake boot with no problems. But you can get the same kit from walsh for about 850. You need duel valve spring kit not DLC coated buckets. only reason you crack buckets is from valve float


As for hp. I have a pretty built motor and bolting the carb kit on and taking weight off crank i defiantly gained HP and it will rev way faster, Been running this for 4 months now with no problems.

only thing with the kit from walsh is that they dont cut your harness so you have all them extra wires and they ont tap the thumb housing
