i was wondering if anybody that has a fcr carb on there 04/05 trx used the stock trx cable or the cable from the crf?

the reason i'm asking is because on the end of the trx cable it is threaded and screws into the old carb at the top and on the fcr carb it has no threads there where the end of the cable sits. what does everyone do about that?

It may depend on the type of FCR carb you have. I have one off of the CRF 450r. Every cable mounted right up.

use the TRX cable, you dont use the threads, the nut sits inside the carb and then tighten the threads into the nut. i hope you understand what im saying

hey thanks, yeah i see what youre saying, put the cable in the carb, put the nut on the bottom side hole and the top side nut on the top of the carb and tighten it right?

yea, the regular nut fits into the carb, then just tighten the top down
