Sunglasses

well its a little late now to ask for opinions, but i just broke down and bought myself a nice pair of sunglasses. i went with the oakley flak jackets blak/black polarized and it was right around 150. My biggest question is what do you guys think of the oakleys if you have them and also what other kinds you like. I've heard that the oakley polarization process is one of the best out there because they polarize at a molecular level versus a surface coat that can wear off, much like tint on a window. does anybody have any information on it or can verify that?

I like some of the oakleys, but I am a ray ban fan myself.. I feel that oaks are a bit over priced, most of all they have some goofy looking ones.. But to each his own..
I am on my second set of my bans, I keep losing the damn things on the boat. Also costa del mars are nice, but seems everybody and there brother has them, or atleast around my area, since they are a nautical/fishing style set of shades.

Nothing wrong with Oakleys. I just don't like em cause EVERYBODY has em. I've got a pair of Spy Coopers. Probably get a new pair some time soon since I've had this pair for over two years.

ive had a pair of oakley oil rigs for 2 years now, i work in them and everything and they are still in great shape. I got a new job so i rewarded myself with a new custom pair of oil rigs. Clear frame, with blue lens and blue "O"s. Im extremely happy with them and ill continue to buy oakleys.

Ive had three pair of flak jackets and love them. I just got a pair of polarized for 210. Give them two weeks and they will adjust to your face, Best part about them.

I had a pair of Ray Bans... I liked them, but someone stole them out of our truck when the broke in to steal the GPS last week :grr:

I'm probably going to pick up a set of Fox or SPY sunglasses.... I like most of their designs.

I love my Oil Rigs. Had them going on 6 months and they are holding up great.

I had some Spy Coopers for about a year and then I lost them in the lake. If anyone wants a pair of $85 sunglasses they are about 20ft down under our dock:mad: After I lost those I got some Ray Ban's and they are pretty sweet :)

I used to have a pair of Spy sunglasses a few years ago but my dog got ahold of them and that was the end of them .

Now I have a paid of Arnette's and love them. My fiancee has Arnette's which are polarized and they're awesome. I should have bought polarized. Next time I guess.

I dont wear sunglasses, but if I did I wouldnt spend more than 25 bucks on a set.

I wear sunglasses all the time. I have learned that Oakleys are the cheapest I can buy. I spend around $100.00 on them and they last for several years. Before I would spend about $10 on a pair of cheap glasses and they would last about a month.

I use mine all the time, they are great for cutting fire wood.

I also had a pair of Bellie, they are a little cheaper and are good but not as good as oakleys.

I have bought expensive sunglasses three times. 2 are at the bottom of a lake, and one pair got crushed in my truck when i threw something on them. None of them lasted more than a summer.

Now, I go to the sunglass hut in the mall and buy their 3 for $20 deal, can't freeking lose these or break them if I tried. Some stigmas with me I guess, just unlucky in the sunglass world.

im with you Derek every nice pair of glasses i bought go either stole or lost! now my 2 for 25 dollar glasses are always returned to me, there like woman treat them nice and they leave, treat them like crap and they stick around.

I've had the oakley gas can's for around a year or so now and love them. No one around here really seems to wear them. Had to go with the ducati edition to be different too. I have a $25 off slip thing for a sunglasses store around here and I think I might pick up a pair of spys.
