I have a 2010 Apex 90 the chain tentioner is resting against the rear shock. This causes it not to work properly. The shocks are Elkas. I dont see another way to adjust the chain. Does anyone have a remedy for the. Please help if you can. Thanks

Grab it with your hand and pull it towards the chain till it clears the shock. you will do this alot bad design!!!!Or try the max-rpm tensinior. Good luck Derek

try to post a pic of what you are talking about.
I have an 09 with Elkas and have had the stock tensioner on the quad for over a year with no problems. You have to set it up right though, DO NOT tighten the bolt at the pivot point. It should just snug enough to keep the arm from wiggling without causing it to bind. Drill a small hole in the nut and bold and put in a cotter key. See this Apex tech bulliten to get it working properly.
