a guy i know just rolled his quad and bent is steering stem. How hard is it to replace them? and is there naything special i should know before we do so? and does anyone have a stock one they want to sell? lol

Easy job. You should check the bearing at the bottom because now is the time to replace it if it is loose at all.

You have to take the skidplate off to get to the cotter pin and the bolt that holds the stem in.

as stated it is a extremely easy job also double check the frame were the stem bolts into by the handlebars for any bending or stress the same thing happened to me and i though i would just bolt on a new stem and go..well needless to say i missed a riding trip because i under estimated the damage and had to buy a new frame.
