I'll be moving to Charleston SC next week, and I am wondering how the riding is down there, or the MX tracks?

I just moved here to from PA. I have looked on line and there is a place called adventure world. But I have no one to ride with and have not met anyone yet. I dont want to ride alone. I am in the Greenwood area. There is a couple of trails out by Abbievile in the natl forest. Parsons mt. I was told to go to. If you are up to it and are not too far away let me know. I would like to check out some trails.
I dont think we are in Kansas anymore.. I miss PA riding at Tri-county. and rock run... :(

As mentioned there's Carolina Adventure World which is 45 - 60 mins above Columbia/towards Charlotte. It has trails and tracks. Would be probably three hours or so from Charleston.
Closer to Charleston is the public Wambaw Cycle Trail near McClellanville. Here's a link:

Don' t know much about it but I'm betting it's pretty flat.
There's also Durhamtown Plantation in Georgia. Google it; don't know how far it will be from Charleston. Another place in GA is Broad River; don't know how far. Here's a link:

There's also a track in upper SC called TNT; try Googling it.
If you ever venture up into NC, there's a trail place called Brushy Mountain which I thought was great trail riding. It has a track too. But it will be a haul. Here's a link:

Good luck, and get ready for the heat!
