No one from Southern IL has been here? I guess I'll be the first to report.

$23 to ride for 9 hours is expensive.

I have been there once for a midsouth race. It's nothing like St Joe. It would remind be more of Lynnville, In.

nice place and they have a nice campground.

It was a nice place but are a bit asinine about their hours. But it is their place, they can operate however they want. 8-5 means gate opens at 8 and they shut everything down at 5, even the bathrooms. They really want you gone at 5pm.

Trails were good and well kept. Trails were marked with signs and the map helped. It was mainly a beginner/intermediate trail ride. I had to buy a $11 DNR sticker, and a $12 day pass.

It's not too bad of a place to ride, although for me its only about a 15 minute drive to get there... But I do agree about the hours, they've never really been that way until recently either.

Its a decent sized place, and most of the trails are in fairly good condition; but like you said, they are fairly easy trails. I don't know how the track was for you, or if you even went out on it; but it's usually pretty rough with the jumps worn down.

The track was okay, but my quad isn't set up for mx. There was water pits between the jumps or in front of the jumps. I did like the wooded mx track that we came across though.

i went there about a month ago.. trails were pretty good and well marked.. But i'll prolly never camp there again... Its not easy trying to sleep in a tent 1000ft from a highway with loud a** trucks rollin by all night. lol.. other than that. its a fun place
