Are stock 300ex tires 2ply?

im wondering if the stock 300ex tires are 2ply or 4ply can someone help me out here im lookin to get some new tires soon

Yes, they are 2 ply. However the stock rear tires on 300ex's work very well. My friend Dave Maccarroll won the GNCC 4-stroke stock class in 2001 on a 400ex and the sport class in 2002 on a 300ex using stock 300ex rear tires and has never once had a flat tire (even at The Wisp). I would have never believed it if I had not of seen it myself!

I prolly wouldnt believe it unless i saw it either. They are so balloony. But some ppl like the tires that way, i prefer lower profile ones.
