Stainless steel oil filter

Has anyone used a stainless steel oil filter in the kfx450r? How long do they last and do they offer great protection?

i dont have one but there supposed to last forever so long as you clean them everytime you change your oil

My opinion is this a stainless steel filter would not actually be a filter it would be a screen.

I do not want to screen my engine oil I want to filter it.

Not that my opinion matters but we lost 1 engine all year running Kal Gard oil and stock oil filters

Just to add Joel beats the crap out of the motor even in practice

That type of filter came with my quad but i took it out just because if dont feel comfortable using it, i rather throw a cheap new one in every time. Not sayin its not worth it though.
