When you by a graphic kit for 99-04 trx do you haft to replace the black bottom gas tank piece with the indention's on it for the sticker to fit right?

please help ready to put graphics on:confused:

if you get graphics for the 99-04 400ex it will not go down far enough to hit the dempled lower section of tank plastics
