I have a black clarke tank i tried to sell a while ago. I still got it, not petcock or mounts. Just the tank and lid. $60 shipped

just out of curiosity what do you think a brand new in the box oem black honda tank would be worth

When did honda make a black tank? i've never seen one for an R

not sure but I have one, I ordered a blue one maybe back in 2001 and was sent a black one and told that was all they had left, or that it replaced the colored ones- no one was really sure??? go figured I was a bit stumped as was the dealer - the best part was they ended up giving it to me at no charge since it was not blue. I was a bit bummed as I wanted blue but was not going to argue as I got it free and the dealer told me that they no longer produce the colored tanks so I could not get one even if I wanted to. I bought a blue Clarke tank and just saved this for a future build and because I never saw another one.

I got a black maier tank cover a week ago on ebay for around $30. It looks really nice, just like a black tank.
