I have considered this concept before............

are there any boats using this river?

if not, try this.

build a floating dock using 55 gallon drums underneath to keep it floating.
tie a rope across the river so you can pull yourself from one side to the other. make a couple of cheesy ramps to help get on & off the "barge" on either side.

Write a letter to your local government to have the river removed.:devil

NO no no no,... you guys got it all wrong. All you gotta do is build a huge ramp on both sides of the river. Now get about 1/4 of a mile back. Bring her up to 5th gear wide open and fly. Hey if you don't make it you can land in some water so it wont be so bad! :D

No boat on this river Except the occational nut on a kayac. It's knickname is the forgotten river (Passaic River) That's why we can ride there because no one cares about the river or the land around it. There are some foreners who fish for hugh carp but thats it. On the other side are much more developed trails. The nearby bridges are for major roads with lots of cops.

We are thinking of 3 pallets connected together with 5 gal spackel buckets screwed to the sides. And of course the rope tied to each side of the river and to the raft like in the outlaw Jose' Whales.

- WAIT EVEN BETTER- air up your tires and float em across-
you'll have to swim bit your bikes will float- but don't let go of em' unless your a fast swimmer

nah for real - i'm with whats his name up there-

you should hit yourself over the head
