yea mine has done it for about a 1 1/2 years now. i figured i better look into it. i ride in coal dust so you think bearings but they seem fine. i might break down and change them

My kfx made a cracking noise. The axle bearings were so sloppy it made the axle tilt enough that the chain snapped a little on the sprocket.

yo i have these tweaking noise when i pop a wheelie like "rrrrwAPPP" on the clutch not pop it, i thought it was a lose sproket but i think its cause on the axle those 2 big nuts should be touching and th same thread and the outside one is away and not the same thread. im gunna take a big plummer wrench and see if i can move it

Can someone go over the process for replacement of the rear axle bearing Do i need a press? just pull the axleand dissasemble down to the carrier or what? I read where the carrier needs to be heated to remove and reinstalle? Is that true? thanks for the info.

i didn't use a press or heated it. its aluminum swingarm it will melt if to hot. just take axle out, use a long punch, hammer bearings out each side, and tape new in with a socket of the bearing size. thats it, so easy a caveman can do it. if you work on it yourself, buy a book its a lifesaver.
