Don't know where you are located, but HRE makes 400ex flip top subframes as well as conversions for $150.

in my opinion dont even bother they are not as cool as they look. I was at one time a big fan of them, i have owned two, a laeger 250r and currently have one on my prp hybrid but they are a pain they flop up when you jump, when you flip, and just about any other time you want it to stay down. The only way that would work good is if you had a latch in the front with a cable to release it the rubber bushings dont work worth a flip. Just my two cents.

I've been running a Laeger flip top for 3 years mx and it has never come unlatched. Just my 2 cents

Same here, ive had 20 or so different quads with flip tops and not one ever had a problem with it coming unlatched. Sounds to me like the ones having the issue need to put a new bushing in or check the flip top stud for wear.

then add a couple welds to bead up the stud so it fits tighter in the bushing and walla your done. and always keep a spare bushing so if you notice it getting a little easy to lift youw can pop a new one in and have no worries. remember you can also jsut rotate the bushing 180 degrees and it latch like a fresh one for awhile.
