2005 plastics on a 2000

k guys got my 2005 plastics yesterday put them on my 2000 last night . let me know what you think i got the trail tech lights coming today im goin to mount on the frame.

i know , i got some black shock covers in the mail comin, as for the bar pad i took that off goin to get a black renthal one.

I was wondering the same thing. Is this a pretty much, bolt right on, type conversion? My plastics are "stitched" up pretty good from the previous owner with zip ties and his apparent habit of marking trees or something....

If this is a pretty simple swap, my Maier order will most certainly be for '05 plastics instead of '01's...

If there were some minor mods, do you mind taking a few pics?

yea they bolt right up ! maier sends some brackets that go on your mounts but otherwise fits just like stock no adjustments or nothin . i got the yellow ones 50% off to only 120 bucks .
