450r gas tank band

So my last problem on my 2004 trx450r is the band that holds the gas tank down and in place. On part schemes it shows it just going under the tank. I can not seem to find anywhere to hook it to. Anyone have any ideas?

There are little tabs on the frame.

i thought they hooked to a bolt that threads into a spot on the tank......if i remember right.....i could totally be wrong though

on the lower rear of the tank there should be a tab on each side the strap goes from those to the tabs on the frame
