Painting Atv frame

I'm wanting to paint my frame on my KFX 400.The question I have is what paint have you used to paint the frame. Ive read PJ1 is the best but they don't sell it here any place locally.

get it powdercoated, anything else wont last

pappy does some of the best jobs ive seen, and hes super cheap

i am just wondering why painting would not work? i understand it would not last if it was an area that got rubbed on but if it was an area like most parts of the frame why would it not work?

I have seen painted frames go on for a long time.

There are a few people on here that have them.

Heres how I see it. The frames come painted from the manufacturer.If taken care of, the paint last for years.Im sure just about everybody here can paint a frame better than the stock paint job.If money is an issue paint it,if not powdercoat it.

Found out one of my relatives powder coats if I can get a good price ill powder coat it.
