quad only idles with choke on

So i rejetted my carb. I am running an hmf slip on a uni filter and an open lid. I upped my pilot to the 42 and my main to 155. my plug was showing im rich so i might try a 152. With the 155/42 combo the quad would rev out nice but only idle with the choke barely on. I had my a/f screw at 2.5 out. Any suggestions?

go to 3 or 3 1/2 out on the A/F screw.
