Quadtech Hood

Hey
What do you guys think of Quadtech hoods? They are nice but it seems like a lot to spend on a hood that can easily get chipped up or broke.
Since I ride MX mostly. I was thinking of a black one to match my plastic.
Whats your guys thoughts?

I race XC and have a QT CF hood. I've had a casualty or two with them, but I like them. They can take quite a bit more abuse then you might think. The plastic ones also hold up really well, but it's not secret, they're not cheap.

Get a TRP (Tiger Racing Products) hood. Similar design, made MUCH stronger. Thick fiberglass, and the "wow" factor and unique capabilities of them are worth it. They can make one in any color. Plus, ALOT cheaper. So less money for a better product, you can't beat it. Not trashing Quadtech's stuff. Check them out on FaceBook under "Tiger Racing"

go with the trp. they are so trick and no one has them. YOU CAN SEE THE SPARKEL from a mile away. i would highly recomend the look of them. and i know if roosted the shi out of some of them and no chips at all...now only if they made one for a Yfz...
