Clean it up, throw a new chain on, best to replace the sprockets too, and you will have a fun machine.

Check the whole quad over. It taking a lot of kicks to start could be anything from old gas in it, carb needing cleaned, maybe not jetted right, or needing rings. Hard to start is a good sign of low compression, needing rings at the least.

Congrats on your new Q-Racer!

yeah it definetly needs a wash! check the air filter too, chances are its as dirty as the rest of the quad lol. probably just needs some good gas, a fresh br9egv plug, and a cleaning. If it still don't start good after that get the specs of the carb (sized of carb and jet sizes) and holler back.

my uncle's used to race these they are very fast. raced a mustang at the drag strip and went by him at the 60 foot mark on the back tires and blowed the mustang away. did i happen to mention that my uncle was crazy when it came to riding 4 wheelers. he did have alot of porting and polishing done to the motor though.wish i could find one of those at a good price. have fun man

I have had a few quadracers over the years, you should be using a B9 plug, the racing type that come in the red box and costs more preferably. Quadracers seem to flood easily, do you give it gas before kicking it. Try not giving it any gas at all, should fire right up with your choke on.
