I lost all hope on finding a spare engine for a decent price any more for my race R.

Just bought a 85 ATC 250r all original all parts, including stator and shifter.

Crank is frozen up. Piston and cylinder is fine, for $250 shipped.

I have a new crank already (for another engine) and im going to go threw the entire engine and put my ESR 330 PV race engine on it.


I think thats a deal for a complete engine. Especially since i can sell the original jug.

good deal. i had to resleeve my jug and it cost me about $500 with piston and gaskets.

I was looking at that auction as well. I have a CT330 I want to put together, but all I need is a Left case half and a heavy gear set, so I didn't want a bunch of parts lying around, so I didn't bid on the motor.

As long as the crank isn't locked because of contact with the case (if that's possible) that it's a good deal!
