After trying all of the suggestions in my earlier post with no success, I finally took it to the dealer. The dealer has a great reputation with some close friends, by the way. They found the quad only had 60 lbs compression, and 95% leakage during a leak down test. It seems my valves were too tight, and burned up my intake valves. I had a 416 kit and cam on the way from C&D anyway, so while they're in there, the kit/cam is going in, along with a port and polish. I still haven't had a chance to ride with the new Elkas and swingarm, so it makes me that much more anxious to get it back.
This was Ohio's first day above freezing in twenty days, so maybe riding weather is just around the corner.
