Ive done some research on fixing the brake drag problem everyone says get a yamaha or honda master cylinder and replace the calipers with honda but do the calipers just bolt right up or is there modifying need?

The caliper mounting brackets will need to be modified and/or fabricated to work with the honda calipers. Get yourself a honda master cylinder and give it a shot. It will improve braking and help somewhat with the brake drag. They are readily available on e-bay. One of the best brake mods available.

if i only change the master cylinder to a honda and not the calipers does that help at all or does it all work better together?

The master cylinder alone would be a great improvement in braking with some improvement in the drag issue.
