I am getting ready to part out my quad but I'd like to get rid of some of the big stuff first.
So up for sale is an 03 motor. I have taken very good care of this motor, it has never overheated or blew any gaskets. It has had oil changes religiously every 3 rides using Belray oil, always ran Engine Ice Coolant. The drz kit was installed because it needed a new timing chain. The DRZ kit and DID cam chain only have a handfull of rides on them.
mods include:
Old style HotCams both intake and exhaust
Drz dual valve springs
Drz base gasket
DID Cam chain
The only "problem" with this motor is a piece were the exhaust attaches broke. The bolts were not correctly torqued and the exhaust broke it. I have ridden it like this for two years, there are NO problems with it and the exhaust still seals perfectly. As you can see from the pic there is no exhaust leak from that area or else it would have black soot coming out.
